Bhajans on Keyboard to be released on 25th Nov'09

Looking forward to seeing you all at Vani Mahal - Obul Reddy Hall at 6:30pm on 25th November, 2009.

This is kind of a dream project as Sathya's mother always wanted to do a bhjan project with Sathya on lead. She has been getting lots of request during her PR while the concert is on. Thus we casually asked Sathya if he could compose Back Ground Music BGM for few bhajans and thanks to the Almighty a new project is on the way out! When this was informed to Sri Dinesh Naidoo of South Africa his first sponsor for teh first album, his immediate reaction was to arrange for the launch as he will be in Chennai during the last week of November 2009.

The ball started rolling and all is set for the release on the November 25th, 2009 with Living Legend & God of Music Dr. Balamuralikrishna giving his time to launch this album with Dr. Nalli Kuppuswamy Chetty and Sri Natarajan. Here is the invite and the wrapper designs of the new album. You can also listen to the sample tracks here

Sathya's bhajan CD is a unique experiment - weaving the holy hymns on the keyboard with exemplary instrumental support.

Sathys is bound to scale greater heights in music with his bold approach to reach spiritual music in a palatable form to a very large section of music lovers who do not understand the language of the hymn but still can appreciate the soul of the music.

Very Nice and excellent performance at this very young age through self practice - an Ekalaiva, without under going any course in operating musical instrument and attained precision perfection in operating the key board and rendered melodious keerthanas, keeping the sangeetha rasigas spell bound. May God bless him with long life, good health, wealth and prosperity. -
